A HISTORIC PROPERTY

Built in 1848 on a Spanish Land Grant, Alameda House is one of the oldest historic properties in Southern New Mexico.  The house pre-dates the Gadsden Purchase and New Mexico Statehood. Alameda House has been home to only 4 families in 160+ years.

Two of New Mexico’s notable resident owners were Major William Henry Harrison Llewellyn and Franklin Mitchell Haynor, both of whom helped to shape New Mexico’s history.

A MEMORABLE VENUE

As a fully restored 8,000 sq. ft. turn of the century estate, Alameda House offers over 3 acres of lawn, meeting room, and entertaining areas.

Available for corporate, political and special events, including weddings and reunions. With over 3,000 sq. ft. of indoor meeting space and parking for up to 250 vehicles, Alameda House offers a true Historic Destination Experience.
